the thing needed to put in headers, cant i put it in footer, its ugly to see that on top when im gonna add a banner

You can put the last line of that into your footers.  You need the other part of it in the headers.

If I ever get to making it I will.  The reason why I didn't is because it looks like the regular ones look find for it just its a bit dark when there is a new post.
